Equine Program
Welcome to CJ's Legacy Ranch, a division of the ELTS Foundation. We strive to create an environment where children get hands-on, real-world experience, and our equine program is no exception. A lifelong love of horses brings different rewards at different stages of childhood, but aspiring to be the next Charlotte Dujardin can be a great motivational tool for feeding their enthusiasm and achieving their dreams.
Our focus is on you and your family. We recognize the need to provide a program that develops core strength, improves coordination, encourages trust, exercises the mind, develops problem-solving skills, increases socialization, creates time to relax, and provides opportunities to compete.
"Horseback riding is a complex and demanding physical sport. Riders develop coordination, balance, fine motor skills, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and can improve posture and cardiovascular health."
Those who partake in horseback riding and caring for a horse develop responsibility, accountability, patience, level-headedness, empathy, kindness, and self-discipline. It's by allowing your child to explore their interest in horseback riding that you offer them the opportunity to learn valuable life skills while doing something they love.

Structured sessions with licensed therapists integrating equine interaction to address therapeutic goals.

Competitive and athletic riding programs adapted for riders with diverse physical and cognitive abilities.
Medicine
Medically-directed hippotherapy using the horse's movement as a treatment tool for physical rehabilitation.
Equine Assisted Services
for Veterans
CJ's Legacy Ranch programs for Veterans focus on interactions between the horse and the individual, allowing for risk-taking activities that build upon improving personal decision-making. Our welcoming, indoor air-conditioned or heated arena is the perfect healing and stress-relieving venue.
For many individuals who have served in our military, the ability to remain relaxed in the present moment and make important connections with other people is more difficult than most of the general public — often a by-product of PTSD. Our equine-assisted programs provide a unique pathway to healing.
